Walter Mazzarri: 'We deserved to win'

Walter Mazzarri believes that Napoli should have taken all three points at home to Juventus yesterday evening.

Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri believes that his team deserved to win last night's encounter with Juventus at the Stadio San Paolo.

Gokhan Inler's goal rescued a point for Partenopei after Bianconeri captain Giorgio Chiellini had given the visitors the lead.

The results means that Napoli remain six points adrift of Antonio Conte's men at the top of Serie A.

"I'm content with the way my team played, especially in the second half," Mazzarri told Sky Sport Italia.

"It's a shame for the result. I think we deserved all three points, as we created a few more scoring opportunities than Juventus.

"Never mind. We are doing something phenomenal here and will try to continue until the end. We always try to win, then we see what we achieved."

Napoli travel to Chievo for their next fixture.
