Half-Time Report: Juventus frustrated by Sassuolo

Juventus have been unable to find a way through a resolute Sassuolo defence following a goalless first half in their Serie A clash this evening.

The Bianconeri took control of the match from the start, but their only attempt on goal in the early stages was a wayward strike from Claudio Marchisio.

Carlos Tevez was next to threaten for the hosts with a powerful shot from just inside the box that flew narrowly over the bar.

Sassuolo barely posed a threat, but Nicola Sansone forced Marco Storari into a save from his dangerous free kick.

In the final minute of the half Arturo Vidal saw an effort from the edge of the box deflect wide, as the visitors held on to go into the break level with the Italian champions.
