Juventus head coach Antonio Conte has criticised referee Mark Clattenburg for his performance during his side's 0-0 draw and aggregate defeat against Benfica on Thursday night in the Europa League.

Clattenburg sent off three players on the night, two for Benfica and one for the hosts, and Conte has said that the Premier League official is not fit to preside over such an important fixture.

"I didn't appreciate either the attitude of our opponents or the referee," BBC Sport quotes Conte as saying. "UEFA should show us more respect by sending a referee of the required standard."

Benfica will play Sevilla in the final.
