Prandelli confirms Motta fitness

Italy boss Cesare Prandelli has said that Thiago Motta is ready to play against England if called upon at Euro 2012.

Motta, who has started all three games for the Azzurri until now, was a late fitness doubt after picking a hamstring issue earlier in the week. However, his manager insists that he has trained and will be available for selection against the Three Lions.

"Thiago Motta has a muscle problem," he said.

"He has trained and is available for tomorrow's game. We just have to decide whether or not we need him."

England and the Azzurri face off in Kiev tonight.
