Former Italy boss Marcello Lippi has backed the Italians to secure the victory in their Euro 2012 final with Spain on Sunday.
Lippi led his country to World Cup success in 2006, and he believes that the country can triumph once more.
"Our squad is growing and the performances show continual improvement throughout the competition. It is going to be a difficult match, but we are able to fight and bring home the European Championship trophy," he told La Repubblica.
Lippi currently bosses Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande.
