Mario Balotelli in confrontation with paparazzi

Italy striker Mario Balotelli has reportedly been involved in a confrontation with paparazzi during a day out in Krakow.

It is understood that the 21-year-old lashed out at photographers while shopping near his country's training base.

"Why do you follow me? What do you want? I am not doing anything wrong. I'm going to eat ice cream in the plaza and go back to the hotel and have dinner. What do you want me to do?" La Gazzetta dello Sport quotes him as saying.

Balotelli was left out of Italy's starting side in their 2-0 win over Republic of Ireland on Monday.
