Paul Jewell reveals Sean St Ledger interest

Paul Jewell has admitted that he is interested in making centre-back Sean St Ledger an Ipswich Town player this month.

However, the boss has revealed that there is a lot a interest in the Leicester City defender.

"Central defence is an area we are looking to improve," he told reporters.

"I've spoken to [Leicester manager] Nigel Pearson and the player's agent but there's a few clubs in for Sean and it now depends on the player."

St Ledger, 27, joined the Foxes in July 2011 from Preston North End.
