Ipswich to release Ebanks-Blake

Ipswich Town striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake will leave Portman Road in the summer after the club opted against offering him a new deal.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers forward has made just two starts for the Tractor Boys, and manager Mick McCarthy has revealed that Stephen Hunt could follow the attacker out of the door at the Championship outfit.

The 55-year-old told BBC Radio Suffolk: "Sylvan won't be staying. I've spoken to Hunty - I won't be doing anything with him straight away."

Ipswich currently sit in 10th position in the league table.
