Ipswich sign goalkeeper Brown

Goalkeeper Jason Brown has joined Ipswich Town on a deal that runs until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old had been without a club since he had his contract terminated by mutual consent by Aberdeen in July.

Manager Mick McCarthy has brought the Welsh international into his squad after Stephen Henderson was recalled by West Ham United.

Brown began his career at Gillingham before he moved to Blackburn Rovers in 2006, but he made just 25 appearances over a five-year spell at Ewood Park.
