Ebanks-Blake undergoing Ipswich medical?

Free agent Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is reportedly undergoing a medical at Ipswich Town this afternoon ahead of signing a contract at Portman Road.

According to TWTD.co.uk, the 27-year-old has been in Suffolk for the last two days and could become an Ipswich player this week.

The former England Under-21 striker has been out injured since April with a broken leg and ankle ligament damage and spent the start of the season training at former club Wolverhampton Wanderers, who didn't offer him a new contract in the summer.

If he signs with Ipswich, Ebanks-Blake will link up with manager Mick McCarthy for a second time in his career after McCarthy signed him for Wolves from Plymouth Argyle in 2008.

Other Championship clubs said to be interested in offering Ebanks-Blake a contract are Burnley, Leeds United and Leicester City.
