Bartosz Bialkowski confirms Ipswich Town contract talks

Ipswich Town goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski has revealed that he is in contract negotiations with the Championship club.

The 28-year-old's current deal at Portman Road is due to expire at the end of the season.

However, the Pole has now confirmed that he is on the verge of committing his future to the Tractor Boys.

"The talks about the new contract have already begun. I think we're close to finalising the deal," he told 2x45.info.

"I'm very happy here and would like to stay in the club. If we reach an agreement I think the new deal will be longer than one year."

Bialkowski has made eight appearances in all competitions for Ipswich this season.
