Ipswich take a 1-0 lead into half-time of their Championship match against Barnsley.

Ipswich Town have taken a 1-0 lead into half-time of their Championship match against Barnsley this afternoon.

The visitors took an early lead when Aaron Cresswell fired in a free kick that crept through the arms of Ben Alnwick.

The hosts thought that they had equalised towards the end of the half when they had the ball in the back of the net, but the referee pulled play back for a foul on keeper Scott Loach.

The Tractors will now be looking to hold on to their lead and claim their first win in six matches.
