Report: Inter Milan join Fabio Coentrao race

Inter Milan are reportedly hopeful of convincing Real Madrid left-back Fabio Coentrao to make the move to San Siro this summer.

The 27-year-old is widely expected to leave the Bernabeu before the start of the new La Liga season in search of regular first-team football.

On Monday, a report claimed that the Portuguese international was only interested in a return to Benfica this summer, but according to Corriere dello Sport, Inter are confident of turning the defender's head with a big offer.

Coentrao has not played a part for Real Madrid during pre-season as he continues to recover from a minor muscular problem.
