Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has admitted that the Italian side will not put in a bid for Carlos Tevez despite preparing for the impending departure of Samuel Eto’o.
The 27-year-old striker, who was poised to join Corinthians this summer before the deal fell through, has been linked with a move to the Serie A side.
Despite speculation, Moratti has revealed that the Argentinian will not replace the former Barcelona frontman.
"Will Tevez be the replacement? I don't think we will get him,†Moratti told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
"Forlan? Lavezzi? These are the names on which we are working. We are watching, exploring, we'll see.â€
Recently City boss Roberto Mancini admitted that they had not received any bids for Tevez.
