Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte has said that Alexis Sanchez is not yet ready to start for the club.
Sanchez joined Inter on loan from Manchester United in the latter stages of the summer transfer window, and the attacker made his debut for the Italian giants against Udinese on September 14.
The Chile international has been an unused substitute in Inter's last two games against Slavia Prague and AC Milan, however, and Conte has revealed that the 30-year-old is not yet ready to feature in the first XI.
"For him it is worth the words I give for everyone else. When I see ready players, they will be inserted [into the starting line-up]. I have to work in the interest of Inter, not of individuals," Conte told reporters.
Sanchez represented Chile at the Copa America earlier this summer, but the versatile attacker did not play a minute of pre-season football for United before leaving for San Siro.
Inter will be attempting to make it five straight wins at the start of the new Serie A campaign when they welcome Lazio on Wednesday night.
