Report: Steve Harper to undergo Hull City medical

Former Newcastle United goalkeeper Steve Harper will reportedly undergo a medical with Premier League club Hull City on Monday.

The 38-year-old is currently available on a free transfer after leaving Newcastle at the end of last season, a club where he spent 20 years of his career.

According to Sky Sports News, the experienced shot-stopper has agreed personal terms with Steve Bruce's side, with the move to be completed at the beginning of the week.

Harper will seemingly battle with Scotland goalkeeper Allan McGregor for the number one position at the KC Stadium next season.
