Hull City likely to complete Shane Long capture tomorrow

Hull City boss Steve Bruce says that he expects the deal to sign Shane Long from West Bromwich Albion to go through tomorrow.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has revealed that the club are expected to complete the signing of Shane Long from West Bromwich Albion tomorrow.

The Baggies accepted a bid from the Tigers this morning after the 26-year-old rejected a new deal.

According to ITV Sport, Bruce said earlier today: "He is having a medical as we speak. You're never 100% sure but we would hope if he has gone for a second lot of scans we're as close as we can be.

"We've got everything in place, so we just need him to sign and that is that. Discussions on personal terms are ongoing. We think we're close in that department too.

"Hopefully the medical is alright, hopefully personal terms are agreed and we have something for you tonight or tomorrow morning."

Reports have claimed that the fee for Long could rise to £7m plus add-ons.
