Alex Bruce: 'Preparation key against Swansea City'

Hull City defender Alex Bruce believes that not playing until Monday will give the team extra time to prepare to face Swansea City.

Alex Bruce has said that having an extra couple of days to prepare for Swansea City will help Hull City this weekend.

The Tigers will visit last season's League Cup winners on Monday evening, with just one point separating the two sides in the table.

The defender told the club's website: "I think the extra couple of days' preparation is a welcome thing for us.

"The last two games have taken a lot out of us physically but we've got an extra couple of days to recover now compared to what we would normally have.

"We also know that Swansea will be a difficult game as well, so those extra couple of days of preparation are going to be vital. Hopefully we can go down there and pick up some points."

Hull have won twice in their last six games.
