Sone Aluko close to Hull City return

Hull City have revealed that Sone Aluko could be back in training next month following a successful Achilles operation.

The 24-year-old midfielder has been out of action for the Championship side since January.

"The club's medical staff are confident that, barring any setbacks, Aluko will be back in training by the middle of next month," read a statement on the Tigers' official website.

Aluko is Hull's joint-top scorer this season with eight goals.
