Huddersfield Town offer new deals to Oscar Gobern, Ishmael Miller

Huddersfield Town offer new contracts to Oscar Gobern and Ishmael Miller, but Jonathan Stead and Martin Paterson are among those to be released.

Huddersfield Town today confirmed their retained list after the end of the 2014-15 season, with new deals offered to Oscar Gobern and Ishmael Miller.

The pair were both due to be out of contract this summer, but have now been offered the chance to remain with the Terriers in the Championship.

The West Yorkshire outfit have also presented new deals to development squad players Duane Holmes, Flo Bojaj, Ed Wilczynski, William Boyle, Joe Wilkinson, Ben Holmes, Sam Guthrie and Joe Wright.

However, Anthony Gerrard, Jonathan Stead and Martin Paterson are among the players to be released this summer.

After their final-day match at relegated Blackpool was abandoned due to a protest on the pitch, Huddersfield lie 16th in the table but could move up to 15th if they are awarded victory.
