Half-Time Report: Hearts, Dumbarton all square at Tynecastle

Hearts have failed to make possession count in their first half against Dumbarton, with the two sides deadlocked at half time.

Prior to kickoff at Tynecastle, a minute's silent was observed for former Hearts and Scotland legend Dave Mackay, who passed away just over a week ago.

Hearts started strongly, but a defensive mistake allowed Chris Duggan through for the visitors. However, the striker failed to capitalise, sending his volley just wide.

Duggan continued to threaten for Dumbarton, angling a shot to the near post which forced a save from Neil Alexander.

Jamie Walker nearly opened the scoring after Osman Sow sent him through, but his shot struck the side-netting.
