Hatayspor suffered their first defeat in three games on Monday, losing 2-0 to Trabzonspor at New Hatay Stadium.

They had previously recorded back-to-back league wins over Adana Demirspor and Fatih Karagumruk to ease relegation fears.

However, the latest defeat saw them drop to 14th place, just one point above the relegation zone.

Next up is a home game against Sivasspor, an opponent they have not beaten in their last three meetings at home.

However, having won their last home match against Karagumruk, Hatayspor will be hoping to secure consecutive home wins in the Super Lig for the first time since late September/early October.

Meanwhile, Sivasspor are unbeaten in their last three league games, picking up seven points from nine available after beating Besiktas 1-0, drawing goalless with Ankaragucu, and defeating Caykur Rizespor 1-0 last weekend.

Rey Manaj scored the only goal of the game against Rizespor, lifting them to ninth on the table with 33 points, seven points behind fourth-placed Besiktas.

Sivasspor will be looking to improve their away form, having failed to win in their last three matches on the road.

However, heading into this fixture, they will take confidence from their last visit to Hatayspor which ended in a 3-0 victory.
