Half-Time Report: Charlton Athletic, Queens Park Rangers play out goalless first half

Charlton Athletic and Queens Park Rangers go into the half-time break at The Valley with the score locked at 0-0.

QPR had most of the ball in the opening stages of the game, but Charlton came very close to breaking the deadlock twice in a matter of seconds when Jordan Cousins and Reza Ghoochannejhad struck both posts in the 12th minute.

Ravel Morrison was lively on his QPR debut and fired a volley over the bar midway through the first period.

Nedum Onuoha then weaved his way past a couple of Charlton defenders and burst into the box before being brought down, but the referee waved play on.

Five minutes before half time, Rhoys Wiggins crossed for Ghoochannejhad, but the Iranian international saw his shot saved by Rob Green.
