Arsenal's Andre Santos joins Gremio

Andre Santos has completed his loan switch from Arsenal to Brazilian outfit Gremio.

The 29-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the Gunners starting lineup ever since his arrival from Turkish side Fenerbahce in 2011.

As a result, manager Arsene Wenger has allowed him to return to his homeland in search of starting action.

"Everyone wishes Andre well for his time with the Tricolor," read a short statement on the club's official website.

Santos has made 36 appearances for Arsenal, scoring four goals in the process.
