Odion Ighalo's goal has given Granada a much-needed 1-0 win against Real Zaragoza at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes.
The hosts dominated the opening spell and would have been ahead were it not for a solid goalkeeping display from Zaragoza's Roberto Gago.
The visitors' best chances came within a minute of each other as Helder Postiga misjudged a header before the striker poked a second opportunity wide.
Granada took the lead just before the break when Odion Ighalo tapped in at the second time of asking after his first shot was blocked.
The forward could have doubled his side's lead 10 minutes into the second half, but he took too long to get his shot away and was subsequently charged down.
During a dull second period in which neither side created many openings, Postiga came close to finding an equaliser late on but he fired his shot wide.
The win has taken Granada up to 12th in the La Liga table, while Zaragoza remain bottom.
