Germany coach Joachim Low has admitted that he has been impressed by striker Max Kruse, despite his side's 4-3 defeat to the USA on Sunday night.
Kruse scored once in the defeat and also played well in the 4-2 win over Ecuador a few days earlier.
Low has said that Kruse has "convinced" him of his ability at international level and that the Borussia Monchengladbach player could now become a part of the German side when they are back to full strength.
"He's definitely convinced me," Low told Bundesliga.com. "He was always in a position to receive the ball and he was a threat to goal.
"There was always danger in front of goal with him around and Max Kruse brought class to the side."
Kruse will join his new club following a successful season for Freiburg, in which he scored 11 league goals.
