Galatasaray confirm Wesley Sneijder signing

Galatasaray have confirmed the signing of Wesley Sneijder from Inter Milan.

The Turkish club recently announced that they were in talks to bring the 28-year-old Dutchman to the Super Lig.

However, Sneijder's reluctance to accept personal terms stalled the deal.

"The club have reached agreements wtih both Inter and Wesley Sneijder over a transfer," read a statement on Galatasaray's official website.

"The conditions of the agreement will be announced when the player has passed medical checks. In addition, we will announce his time of arrival."

Liverpool had previously been linked with a move for Sneijder.
