Fulham's Ross McCormack wants Premier League football

Fulham striker Ross McCormack, who scored 21 Championship goals last season, admits that he is desperate to play in the Premier League.

Fulham striker Ross McCormack has admitted that he is desperate to compete in the Premier League.

The Scotland international hit 21 Championship goals for Fulham during the 2015-16 campaign, but the Cottagers finished a disappointing 20th in the table.

Amid speculation that Newcastle United and Middlesbrough want to sign the 29-year-old, McCormack has conceded that he would look to leave Fulham if the right offer arrived in this summer's transfer window.

"I want to be playing in the Premiership. It's been something in my mind as the years have gone by. I will be 30 in August so time's running out. I don't know if I'll ever get that opportunity but it's something that I'd love to do," McCormack told reporters.

McCormack has previously represented Rangers, Motherwell, Cardiff City and Leeds United.
