Fernando Amorebieta agrees Fulham switch?

Speculation has claimed that Athletic Bilbao defender Fernando Amorebieta has decided to join Fulham in the summer.

The 28-year-old's contract with Bilbao is due to expire at the end of the season and a number of clubs are believed to have shown an interest in his services.

Teams in Russia were said to have made contact with Amorebieta's representatives, while Arsenal had also been linked with the Venezuela international.

However, according to reports in Spain, Amorebieta has agreed a four-year contract with Craven Cottage-based Fulham.

Amorebieta has collected 11 red cards during his stint in Spain.
