John Arne Riise pleased with Fulham's point at Chelsea

John Arne Riise praises his teammates and the fans after Fulham's 0-0 draw with Chelsea.

Fulham left-back John Arne Riise has praised the performance of his teammates for their efforts to claim a point against Chelsea in Wednesday night's 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Riise was also keen to praise the impact that Fulham's supporters, who were audible all game long, had on the players.

"We've done well at the Bridge in recent years," Riise told Fulham's official website. "It was a great team performance; we showed character and worked hard for each other and we're really pleased with how we played the game.

"We knew that the Chelsea team had a little bit of pressure on them before the match so we knew they probably needed to win to keep the fans happy, but our fans were simply fantastic.

"We heard them all game and especially in the second half when we had a few chances right in front of them; it was great support."

Fulham have a home tie against fellow London side Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
