Martin Jol: 'Crystal Palace game will not be easy'

Martin Jol believes that Crystal Palace will provide Fulham with a tough test on Monday, despite losing six of their seven league games so far.

Fulham boss Martin Jol has insisted that his side's trip to Crystal Palace on Monday will be a difficult one.

Palace are currently 19th in the Premier League, having lost six of their seven games so far.

Jol thinks that although it will be a tough game, his Fulham team have enough quality to take all three points.

"It's not easy to go away from home and play against these teams," Jol said in his press conference.

"If you saw Crystal Palace away against Liverpool, in the second half they could have scored more goals than one. Of course, it was 3-0 [to Liverpool] going into the second half but they could have scored two or three.

"They're a strong team and it will be difficult but I think we've got the qualities and the players to get a result. It's the Premier League, so it will be difficult, but hopefully we'll get the points."

Fulham travel to Selhurst Park on Monday at 8pm.
