Martin Jol frustrated by Fulham draws

Fulham manager Martin Jol reveals his frustration at the number of draws his team have played out this season.

Fulham manager Martin Jol has insisted that the number of draws could cost his side in the Premier League this season.

The Cottagers were defeated 3-0 by Tottenham Hotspur and are now only five points clear of the relegation zone.

Jol said: "We've had seven draws. That is too much - you need wins to get the points on the board. We had a lot of games - Reading, Arsenal, maybe even at Chelsea - where we could have nicked it and we didn't.

"We concede quite a few goals but, normally, if you score a lot, you can score four and concede three. But this was not the scenario, [though] in the first 57 minutes, we played well."

Fulham's next match will be against Newcastle United a week on Monday.
