Karim Frei hands Fulham boost

Fulham midfielder Kerim Frei has revealed that he is closing on a return to action for the club.

The 18-year-old, who made 25 appearances last season, has yet to feature for the Cottagers this season after picking up a pelvic injury on international duty with Turkey.

"Last week on Thursday I started training again. We've been making sure that I didn't come back too fast in case the injury came back," he told Fulham's official website.

Frei is highly rated at Craven Cottage.
