Half-Time Report: Andy Yiadom goal separates Barnet and Forest Green

Barnet are leading at the New Lawn against Forest Green Rovers after Andy Yiadom scored on the rebound from a missed penalty.

Barnet looked in charge from the outset, with Lee Cook creating chances from wide areas and John Akinde looking lively in front of the Forest Green defence.

With 12 minutes on the clock, Barnet were awarded a penalty after questionable defending from the hosts.

Akinde missed from the spot but Yiadom was there to convert into an empty net to put the Bees in front.

Akinde could have doubled the lead three minutes later but failed to score despite a gaping goal in front of him.
