Steven Jovetic furious at loss of armband

Fiorentina attacker Stevan Jovetic is reportedly intent on leaving the Italian club after he was stripped of the captain's armband.

The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Juventus this summer, while Chelsea have also been credited with an interest.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the decision of Viola boss Vincenzo Montella to install Manuel Pasquel as the club's new skipper has convinced the attacker to depart the club.

Jovetic scored 14 goals for the Serie A outfit last season.
