"He is someone we got in on trial a couple of weeks ago and it felt only right to bring someone in with a profile that is hard to find in the modern game," said manager Gary Caldwell.

"He is an aggressive and tenacious midfielder and a few players felt the power of his tackles! He has a big future and pleased he is here. He has been training with the first team every day and will go into the PDP group with the extra training too.

"We have to progress him slowly, but he is eager to make an impact and he is someone that we are bringing in with the hope of being in the first team longer term."
