Everton, Aston Villa to move for Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohamady?

Everton and Aston Villa are both reportedly considering a January move for Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohamady, while Leicester City and Swansea City also hold an interest.

Premier League sides Everton and Aston Villa are both reportedly considering a January move for Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohamady, who has less than a year remaining on his current contract.

The 28-year-old, who joined the Tigers on a permanent deal in 2013, has made 137 appearances for the club in all competitions.

According to The Mirror, Everton and Villa could bid for the £5m-rated player in January, while Leicester City and Swansea City are also interested.

Hull manager Steve Bruce is quoted by the newspaper as saying: "I won't stand in his way. Elmo is in the final year of his contract with us, and the last thing we would want is to lose him on a free next summer.

"Ideally, we want him to stay for longer and we intend to talk to him about signing a new long-term deal. And, while he is here, he's got to knuckle down and respect the contract he has got with us.

"He is just one of several players we've got who are desperate to play in the Premier League, and why wouldn't they be? I want to manage in the Premier League. But you have got to accept that we've been relegated and, together, it's up to us to put that right."

Elmohamady, who can play as a winger or at right-back, has made 71 international appearances for Egypt.
