David Moyes: 'Nikica Jelavic my Davor Suker'

Everton manager David Moyes hailed Nikica Jelavic as being like Croatia's record goalscorer Davor Suker.

Jelavic scored both goals in Saturday's draw at Norwich and has helped Everton move up to seventh in the table.

Moyes said: "He does [remind me of Suker].

"He sees getting goals as part of his job, his role in the team, but he has helped link us up as well.

"He is a presence as a centre forward so he has been good for us. He wants to get a goal and he showed that against Norwich."

Jelavic has scored five goals in all competitions since his £5.5m move from Rangers in January.
