Team News: Christian Atsu given Everton start for Europa League decider against Dynamo Kiev

Atsu starts for Everton

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has decided to give Christian Atsu the nod to start in tonight's crucial Europa League last-16 second leg against Dynamo Kiev.

The 23-year-old, who is on loan from Chelsea, will start alongside Ross Barkley and Steven Naismith, with Romelu Lukaku leading the way up front.

Tim Howard has kept his place in goal, while Seamus Coleman, Phil Jagielka, Antolin Alcaraz and Leighton Baines make up the back four.

Gareth Barry and James McCarthy will take their places in the middle of the park, while defender John Stones has been named on the bench.

There is no place in the squad for Aiden McGeady as Everton try to make the most of their 2-1 advantage from the first leg at Goodison Park.

Dynamo Kiev XI: Shovkovskiy; Silva, Antunes, Dragovic, Khacheridi; Veloso, Sydorchuk; Rybalka, Gusev, Yarmolenko; Teodorczyk

Everton XI: Howard; Coleman, Jagielka, Alcaraz, Baines; Barry, McCarthy; Atsu, Barkley, Naismith; Lukaku
