FA: England won't host 2018, 2022 World Cups

Football Association chief executive Martin Glenn says that England will not host the 2018 or 2022 World Cups.

The Football Association has said that they will not host the 2018 or 2022 FIFA World Cups if Russia or Qatar are banned from hosting the tournaments.

The comments come after a week of speculation that England could be made hosts following the allegations of corruption within FIFA.

"We're not interested. It (2018) has gone to Russia in good faith. They've not had a World Cup, so why shouldn't they play there?," FA chief executive Martin Glenn told Sky Sports News.

"And 2022 was never going to be in Europe, so it should be outside of Europe. We support the World Cup being dispersed around the world."

England were among the bidders for the 2018 World Cup.
