England to face Italy, Uruguay at 2014 World Cup

England will face Italy in the group stages of the 2014 World Cup after the two teams were paired together in this afternoon's draw.

Roy Hodgson's side have also been pitted against Uruguay and Costa Rica in Group D.

The Three Lions will begin their campaign against the Italians in Manaus on June 15.

They will then take on Uruguay in Sao Paulo on June 19 before playing Costa Rica in their final group match in Belo Horizonte on June 24.
