Wayne Rooney sends condolences to Paris

England captain Wayne Rooney, speaking on behalf of the national team, sends his condolences to those that suffered in the terrorism attack on Paris last week.

England captain Wayne Rooney has said that the entire Three Lions set-up send their condolences to those that suffered in the recent terrorist attacks in Paris.

More than 130 people perished in the French capital on Friday evening when a series of terrorist attacks were carried out across the city.

It had been thought that Tuesday's scheduled international friendly between England and France would be cancelled following the travesty, but as it stands, the game will go ahead as planned.

"Our condolences go to everyone affected. We will represent England and show our respects to France," Rooney said at a press conference.

Three people died outside the Stade de France on Friday evening when a suicide bomber detonated himself after being refused entry to France's clash against Germany, which ended in a 2-0 home win.
