Report: Roy Hodgson to meet FA to discuss future before September

FA, Hodgson 'plan talks over future'

England manager Roy Hodgson will hold talks with the Football Association over his future before September's clash with San Marino, according to reports.

The 67-year-old's current deal runs out at the end of Euro 2016, and chief executive Martin Glenn hinted that Hodgson's performance would be assessed at the tournament before a contract is, or is not, offered.

However, The Telegraph claims that talks about how to handle his future have now been brought forward and will take place over the next couple of months.

Hodgson has been in charge since 2012, but England were knocked out of the group stages at last summer's World Cup.
