Gary Cahill: 'Kane has the full package'

Gary Cahill has backed England teammate Harry Kane to shine on his full debut in Friday's Euro 2016 qualifier at home to Estonia.

The Tottenham Hotspur striker, 22, is poised to lead the line in the absence of the injured Wayne Rooney, and Cahill says that the youngster has everything needed to be a "top class" No.9 throughout his international career.

Kane, who netted 31 times in all competitions for Spurs last season, has scored three times from the bench for the Three Lions.

"His attributes as a finisher? Left foot, right foot, good with his head - so he's got half a chance! Physically, he's strong. He can be a target man. He can turn and take you on. He's an exciting player; still young, still developing," Cahill is quoted as saying by The Mirror.

"I do think he's ready and he's a great striker. Last year, he was fantastic.

"This season, he's helped the team do well and, for us, training with him the last few days, you can see he's a top class performer."

Roy Hodgson's men are already guaranteed a place in next summer's finals, having won all eight of their qualifiers so far.
