Patrick Vieira: 'England must fear Karim Benzema'

Former French international Patrick Vieira has warned England that Karim Benzema is the dangerman for France ahead of their meeting at Euro 2012.

The Three Lions will face Les Bleus in the group stages of the tournament, having been draw together in Group D along with Sweden and co-hosts Ukraine. Vieira believes that England will need to be careful when coming up against an in-form Benzema.

"I think he had a fantastic season with Real Madrid," said Vieira.

"He is the main man in this French team. Up front I'm not worried that France can't cause problems to England and so many teams."

Benzema scored 21 goals as Real Madrid won La Liga.
