Faced by a mountainous task on Wednesday, Eintracht Frankfurt seek to secure a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals against all the odds when they visit Napoli at Stadio Maradona.
Following a 2-0 loss in the first leg, the reigning Europa League champions have it all to do in Naples, and to make matters worse they will be without the services of suspended striker Randal Kolo Muani.
The French forward has been involved in 21 goals (11 of his own and 10 assists) in his first 23 Bundesliga matches, which is a measure of his importance to the side.
Shown red for a lunging tackle during the second half of last month's reverse fixture, Kolo Muani is set to be replaced by Colombia international Rafael Santos Borre in midweek, though the latter has scored just three times so far this season.
Eintracht coach Oliver Glasner also has Jesper Lindstrom and Eric Ebimbe sidelined by injury, but Aurelio Buta has recently overcome a knee problem and should start.
Glasner is expected to name Mario Gotze and Daichi Kamada alongside Borre as his side's attacking triumvirate: Kamada has registered 13 goals and five assists in all competitions this term, and is Frankfurt's all-time top scorer in UEFA competition, while Gotze has nine direct goal involvements to his name in 2022-23.
Eintracht Frankfurt possible starting lineup: Trapp; Tuta, Hasebe, Ndicka; Buta, Sow, Rode, Max; Kamada, Gotze; Borre
