What is at stake for Ecuador and Argentina?

Ecuador and Argentina have already secured their spots at the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

The hosts are sitting in fourth place in the standings after collecting 26 points from 17 matches, and they could still move up or down on the final matchday.

Ecuador will be motivated by the chance to beat Argentina for the first time since picking up a 2-0 victory in October 2015.

While they have wrapped up top spot, Lionel Scaloni's side will still be keen to build momentum by extending their seven-game unbeaten run.
