Half-Time Report: Jack Midson puts Eastleigh in front in foul-tempered first half

A goal five minutes before half time from Jack Midson has left 10-man Lincoln City with a lot to do to recover against Eastleigh in the Conference Premier.

Things did not start well for the Imps as Jon Nolan was shown a red card on 18 minutes for a rough challenge.

The rest of the half continued to be a bad-tempered affair with a number of yellow cards shown, before Brian Howard's attempted penalty was easily saved by Lincoln keeper Paul Farman.

Midson then got on the end of a Jai Reason cross to put Eastleigh ahead going into the break.
