Report: Doncaster Rovers to move for Alex Nimely

Doncaster Rovers are reportedly preparing a loan move for Manchester City striker Alex Nimely.

The 22-year-old is highly rated at the Premier League club, but it is understood that he will seek regular football away from the Etihad Stadium this summer.

The forward has previously spent loan spells with Middlesbrough, Coventry City and Crystal Palace over the last 18 months.

A number of clubs are believed to be monitoring developments, but according to Sky Sports News, Doncaster have emerged as the favourites.

Nimely has previously been capped at youth level for England.
