Doncaster Rovers confirm Dean Furman exit

Doncaster Rovers have confirmed that Dean Furman has been released by the club.

The South Africa captain made 66 appearances for the League One side after joining from Oldham Athletic.

Goalkeeper Stephen Bywater, defenders Jamie McCombe and Reece Wabara, midfielder Abdul Razak and striker Theo Robinson have also left the Keepmoat Stadium.

Meanwhile, veteran defender Rob Jones and winger Kyle Bennett have been offered new contracts.

Jones, 35, missed most of the 2014-15 campaign due to a knee injury.
